Välkommen till ett Civitas-event där vi diskuterar kristdemokratiska principer och vad som händer om vi arbetar för ett samhälle med människovärdet i centrum! Kristdemokratin har inte någon utopisk föreställning om hur samhället ska bli längre fram.  Vi har dock visioner om vad som händer om människovärdet får vara vägledande, och om förståelsen för människans behov av att se och bli sedd får ta plats när vi planerar för framtiden.

Eventets första timme inleds med ett samtal mellan våra inbjudna författare modererat av Maria Maric, projektledare för Civitas. Timme två delar vi upp oss i grupper (break out rooms) och du får chansen att träffa människor som intresserar sig för kristdemokrati, pratar med varandra om det som presenterats och dela med oss av erfarenheter. Vi avslutar dagen med genom att återsamlas och låta några lyfta nya insikter. Panelsamtalet sker på engelska.

• Eilev Hegstad, Norge, författare till boken Kristendemokrati (2023 samverkan med KAS)
• Esa Erävalo, Finland, författare till Yhteinen Hyvä (Det gemensamma bästa, 2018 samverkan med Kompassi)
• Henrik Hjortshøj, Danmark, medarbetare i framtagandet av danska KDs principprogram ”Værdigrundlag” 2023.

Welcome to a Civitas event where we discuss Christian Democratic principles and what happens if we strive for a society with human dignity at the center! Christian Democracy does not have a utopian idea of what society will be like in the future.  However, we have visions of what will happen if human dignity is allowed to be the guiding principle, and if the understanding of the human need to see and be seen is allowed to take a central place when we plan for the future.

The first hour of the event begins with a conversation between our invited authors moderated by Maria Maric, project manager for Civitas. In the second hour we divide ourselves into break out rooms and you get the chance to meet people who are interested in Christian Democracy, talk to each other about what has been presented and share experiences. We end the day by reconvening and letting some people raise new insights. The panel discussion will be held in English.

• Eilev Hegstad, Norway, author of the book ”Kristendemokrati” Christian Democracy (2023 collaboration with KAS)
• Esa Erävalo, Finland, author of Yhteinen Hyvä (The Common Good, 2018 collaboration with Kompassi)
• Henrik Hjortshøj, Denmark, co-worker in the development of the Danish Christian Democrats Party Program, ”Value Base” (Værdigrundlag 2023).
